Krafty Kidz Community Childcare was founded in 1997 by a group of lcoal mother who identified a need for a playgroup in the area. With the support of the local community,Peace funding and through hard work and determination they secured and rennovated the former Scouts Den in the village. The first community pre-school in the area and indeed one of the first of it’s kind in Ireland opened in 1997. 

Thier simple mission: to provide high-quality, affordable childcare in a safe and nurturing environment has remained unchanged. Over the years, we have grown from a small, local service into a trusted provider of early childhood care and education, now offering multiple services across the region.

For nearly 30 years, Krafty Kidz has been dedicated to supporting families by offering flexible, reliable childcare options. Our services include creche, preschool education, breakfast clubs, after-school care, and full-time care during school holidays. We are proud to be a not-for-profit organization and a registered charity ( CHY 12168), ensuring that our focus remains on the needs of the children and families we serve.

From the very beginning, we’ve emphasized the importance of building strong relationships with both children and their families. Our experienced and passionate team works hard to create an environment where every child feels valued, loved, and supported.

As we continue to grow, we remain committed to providing the highest standards of care and education, with plans for further expansion in the years to come. Krafty Kidz is proud to be a part of the community, helping children develop the skills they need to thrive now and in the future.
