Welcome to Krafty Kidz – A Community-Focused Initiative
At Krafty Kidz, we believe in the power of community and the importance of coming together to create something meaningful. Nestled in the heart of Daisy Hill, we are proud to offer a space where people of all ages can gather, grow, and engage in a variety of community activities.
Our Community Garden
We are thrilled to have a beautiful 4-acre community garden located right at our site in Daisy Hill. This green space is a hub for local residents to connect with nature, grow their own food, and enjoy the outdoors. Our garden includes:
Daisy Hill House – A welcoming community building that serves as the heart of our activities.
3 Polytunnels – These provide a perfect environment for year-round growing, making it possible to cultivate a wide variety of plants.
Raised Beds – These beds give everyone a chance to get hands-on with gardening, whether you’re an experienced gardener or just starting out.
The garden is a place for individuals and families to learn, share knowledge, and enjoy the benefits of working together in nature.
Community Events
In addition to our garden space, we host a range of community events throughout the year. Our events help bring the local community together, foster connections, and promote a sense of belonging. Some of our highlights include:
Annual Duck Race – A fun and quirky tradition that brings together families, friends, and neighbors for a day of laughter and friendly competition.
Family Fun Day – A day filled with activities, games, and entertainment for all ages, making it a perfect outing for the whole family.
These events are just a few examples of how we foster a sense of community at Krafty Kidz. We believe in creating spaces and moments where everyone can come together to have fun, learn, and grow.
